Italy agrees with their German allies: the repeatedly aggressive "scorched earth policy" at the Axis/Soviet border was a clear sign that Russia planned hostile movements against their own allies. So the Axis-Alliance decided in common sense to strike first before being attacked.

Italian action against the Russian traitors is expected soon.

Yup, I know . But, you know I always want to write some fancy story why I declare war but in your case I couldn't find anything (perhaps you didn't do anything wrong) so I took the pillaging. You could see it this way:
Italians are environmentally-concerned and you harmed the environment in destroying earth I declared war to rescue the earth.

Hmm at first I thought I would invent an evidence that Russia is producing Atomic-weapons but as I'm sure nobody is even close to this tech it would be ridiculous. Next time I will bring a 100% evidence that Russia had signed an Alliance with aliens and wants to take over the world

The Russians seem to have counter attacked us a little bit with fighters and bombers, but all enemy resitance has been shot down.

Vilna and Riga captured. Kristiansand bombed over again. You can pillage, but you can't hide from the German Army!!!

Wow this whole thing develops in a "everybody against everybody". Russia against Axis and Allies. Axis against Russia and Allies, wohoo the world will never be the same

Our Afrika Korps where wiped out even before it came ito action.

Il Duce Mussolini pointed out that after month of economy balancing now Italy is finally in the perfect shape to fully compete in the WW. Soon Russia will fall before the combined might of the Axis.

Allied Capitol Ship sunk in the North Channel. Air attacks on Londonderry and Belfast, Londonderry emptied, but failed to capture any of them.

No accusations Overlord, but what did you empty Odessa with? I kamied an I-16 squadron into your PzIII division to just damage it (thought it'd save the city for a little while), and then in the next turn it was able to kill infantry in city walls?
