Ok, I've tried for like ten times now, and it still wont work. What am I doing wrong?
I open LazyCiv as I open MGE, if I open the prog any later than that I get the message that the "Game is not running".
Then I push copy as I open my last save, and then close the game, open soviets_72 and then push the paste button when I choose gender.
Frustrating!!

That sounds right, open the last file to where you can see the land and the 'End of Turn' square flashing, hit copy, close out the game (BUT NOT CIV2), load up the new game, and hit paste. If it doesn't work, I don't know what's wrong. Sometimes you have to do it once and sometimes 20 times, I have no idea.

Click Copy like 10 times. (seems to give me better results when I do).
Quit that load of the game, but not the entire Civ 2 program. Go in and start bringing up the current save. Right after you type in your password (which I think is the gender screen) click on paste for LazyCiv (again, like 10 times). Even then it may take a couple times for it to work.
I figured you had troops stacked up just waiting to hit Moscow, what do you need new production for anyways?

Well it's never not worked for me, I guess it's just a computer thing.

Since the end seems imminent, the time table is moved up on all offenses. Planes are used to attack that should otherwise refuel.
Beirut destroyed at the cost of a bomber low on fuel.
Port Said captured after losing 4 planes used in the attack. As a result of this, a Capital Ship that we had been keeping an eye on for several turns disappears outside Tripoli.
That allows troops to land safely and capture Tripoli, thus ends the Allied and Soviet presence in the Med.
Apparently the Minor Allies had a fighter near their troops we were target practicing on and nearly killed the bomber and fighter providing air cover.
The fighter returns to refuel while the bomber picks the next Allied division that is out in the open and barely survives.

Well at least I don't have to see any greasy Italians on Russian soil, since he's taking Moscow this turn.

Germany and Italy realize they are in for certain doom as QATAR declares war on the Waxes Flowers!

Nothing of importance happened. Troops moved towards Minor Allied cities, but are still several turns from even trying to land.....
Unfortunatley Land convoys that were built are just short of being able to deliver to Axis cities.
Troops are consolidated and positions are secured. Many cases of wine and champange are delivered to the troops in anticipation of the fall of Moscow.

4 Panzer divisions destroyed west of Moscow, one fighter and two unknown units to the south. Still doesn't change anything though.
