    Kazakhstan Embassy

The 99% doesn't have anything to do with how much we've spent towards them versus how much they've spent towards us. It is based on the total amount of espionage points ever generated by the two teams against anyone (or noone, which is the case before first contact). So all it tells us is that...

Spoiler for Single-player PBEM - ROME

When at some point Memphus declares that in 5 turns he will be coming for you, will you be able to defend your back with your main force at the other end of the world? You're his closest neighbour and I think it would be quite an invitation to conquest if you signal that you're not home...

"Surely, you must be joking!" - Why?

Are you able to build anything that requires Aluminium yet? I find that when the AI says that I "must be joking", it's usually because the resource would be useless to me (at that specific moment).

Spoiler for Single-player PBEM - China

I remember we had a big heated public debate in the first civ mtdg, because my team (TNT) had swapped two citynames (as we moved our capital, IIRC). In a relaxing game as this I see no problem with it, though, as long as you don't do it purposefully to systematically deceive everyone.

Spoiler for Single-player PBEM - China

I'd probably go Iron Working and if there isn't any, then settle by the copper - it might be hard to defend, but it'll be even harder to defend any city (and preferable also defend its sorroundings from pillaging) at all with just archers. I wouldn't worry too much about the Khmer. If I had...

Spoiler for Single-player PBEM - China

Assuming I've understood how PBEM actually works, there should be no issues if you're after General_W in the turn order, since you'll have had the same amount of turns to invest EP's. If not, then I guess you're getting an advantage not normally available in single player, but I'm not sure if...

Spoiler for Single-player PBEM - China

You could always settle ON the marble; it's actually a decent site IMHO, with 2 hammers in the city center. You would have to chop the Oracle in that city then, though.

I'd switch just before the first time I need to whip to avoid unneccesary slave revolts.

Spoiler for Single-player PBEM - ROME

You should definately go for woodsman 1+2 for the warrior - makes exploration safer and much faster. Regarding city sites, I'd probably settle on the grassland, because while the two options might be roughly equal on the economic potential, I think the strategic advantage of completely...

Only the administrator (Thunderfall) would be able to do it. Sending him a PM is probably our best bet.

Spoiler for Single-player PBEM - ROME

I have to agree with dutchfire on that one. Judging from your diplo work thus far, you're following the same diplo strategy that you/Epsilon used in the previous MTDG, which is no doubt a very solid strategy for games with 4+ players. :)

    Daimyo of State elections

Geez! General_W, you put up such a perfect platform that I can't find anything to criticise nor any reason to run against you with an alternative platform, since it's all as if it came from my mouth (just written better). :p And besides, you already had me convinced through our diplomatic...
