Couldn't we just sell war bonds? ;) What about running a national debt? Sure people would not be happy, but the country, and war, would continue.

If I place units on a road between my enemy, and another city, does that stop the trade income for my enemy? (I realise I could destroy the improvment of road, but I might want to keep if for after I take the city.)

I did a culture bomb, and was very happy with it! It pretty much combined my cultural areas together. This was early in the game. Then I used two for a golden age, and the tech discoveries flowed like water.
