Scenario review Age of Discovery 1492-1792 Plus points: -Great map -Perfect setting for a Civ game -Lots of useful resources to be found in the New World, makes expansion worthwhile -AI nations colonise well (Dale used a little trick for this ) -Watching different religons spread through the colonies is fun Minus points: -Tech tree that stretches almost to the 20th Century just doesn't feel right -Too few wars in Europe, probably due to all the Europeans starting with the same religon (Catholic) -Seems like the colonies grow too big too fast Overall: A fantastic scenario, well worth the download and the 21 hours it took to finish the game!
