Election ind Denmark. New prime minister named Hell

Helle Thorning-Schmidt is her name. But the joke is so obvious ind the english speaking world. Helle is a very common girls name in Denmark.


The last three danish prime ministers had the last name Rasmussen.

Helle is a social democrat, and this marks the end of ten years of conservative rule with support from the right wing nationalists "Dansk Folkeparti" (Danish peoples party)

I dont know if theres anything to debate here, but i'm kind of curious about comments from around the world. If there are any.

Yeah, Denmark just got milf'ed on a government level

(and the very first thing her coalition seems to agree upon even before the government has formed, is to roll back some of the recent braindead initiatives from the Danish Peoples Party. That's a plus right there on day 1)

Her husband also is the son of Neil Kinnock, former British EU Commissioner (Labour). The couple was accused of tax evasion not long ago. Don't know how that played out though.
