End of Conquests crash

Whenever I finish one of the 9 conquests, it will go normally at the end of the game, until the Conquests Hall of Fame screen should come up. It is then that the game crashes and has to exit.

I had the exact same problem and after searching everywhere for an answer I saw something that I checked out.

Go into the conquests folder and look for the file campaignrecord.hof. Check to see if it is marked as a read only (right click -> properties) - mine was. Uncheck read only and then reload your save game, finish and you will not get the victory game crash and you will see you score in the hall of fame.

This solved my problem, i hope it does the same for you.
