Funny Screenshots: Part Deux

Well... Not so original, but it made me laugh.
In my current game : 1150 AD Pyramids take 7 turns to build.

I didn't avoid to build them on purpose, but somehow didn't notice they still were available. I built the Hanging Gardens earlier, though, so I could have seen...
Tried to build them in a 10 turns city but lost them. I guess an AI got a reminder as well ^^

Hmmm. Is that funny because:
a) some famous Communist was born in Salzburg;
b) 295 beakers is a poor result for that event; or,
c) that picture finally captures in an image one of those evil volcanos that kill all my towns?

Pyramids still available at 1150 AD is pretty funny to me. And an ancient communist society as well.

Not lolz funny, but still something new. This is the first time I've ever seen an AI move his capital.

No screenshot, but I wasn't sure where else to post this.

I just took a city that had been settled on an iron deposit by Suleiman. The next turn he took it back (dumb mistake by me). However, the greed triggered and I received 4 Curaissers who appeared in the city and punted his troops out, taking the city for me again.

Funny things I see in this screenshot:
1. Monty is only about 7 tiles away from me on warlord
2. The most peaceful leader killed the craziest leader
3. Monty died in the first 22 turns

I never took control of that plot again until the 500 ADs or so. Why, might you ask? Guess who was on the other side of Monty! Julius Caeser, of course!

Here is my first attempt at a funny screen shot. This is real.

This guy forgot to wear his hazmat suit.

It's funny because Communism is not a subject generally found in lost texts!

More proof (as if we needed any ) that Monty is a nutcase:

1: He doesn't just hate me - he refuses to even acknowledge my existence!
Spoiler :

2: He's a little forgetful sometimes...
Spoiler :

And (unrelated) Pericles was a bit overzealous with religions in this game.
Spoiler :

Or perhaps she just recently changed civics and is in anarchy. Perhaps there could be a message about it somewhere. Like, say, at the top of the screen in the middle.

Oh, sorry. I'm pretty nooby at Civ, and I figured it would just show the normal research time +1 if that happened.

Hey no probs, I'm only teasing ;) You get 1 beaker when in anarchy so Cathy is 1704 beakers away from researching combustion.

Sometimes civs turn off science when going for a culture win though.

That was my thought. Lost a game because I didn't realize that was what his abysmal tech rate implied and neglected to check the victory status until I got a warning about a legendary city status and then is was too late.

Indeed.

However, I notice a few things:

You have a swordsman in 1834AD.

Everyone is still alive, and you are playing Huayna Capac. Everyone should be nearly dead by 1AD with Quechuas ;)

Is it just me or does Boudica do poorly in all games? I'm playing a game with him right now (just met him today) and he is at the bottom of the pack, like your game.

Boudica a him?
I guess you failed biology class ;)

And History.

We never discussed Boudica in any of my history classes. I would definitely have remembered her, um, face.
