Is Civilization VII coming or not?

Settlers are now a Class of Unit, rather than a single type. They have the following options, depending on the Unit:
Establish a City on the tile they are currently on, after which they will be destroyed.
Inhabit an already Established City, raising its Population by some amount
Debate an adjacent Settle Class Unit from another Civilization, lowering that Unit's Wellbeing Score

I suspect that Civ 7 is already out, but in beta.

2K launched "Civilization: Eras and Allies" online in small markets last year, in "Early Access" mode. I'd bet that when they get enough feedback and iron out all the bugs, they'll change its name to Civilization 7 and release it more widely.

Here is the website.

It will be coming the same time as Half Life 3 and Minecraft 2 - a friend of mine
But I hope it comes out by the end of 2024

I guess you're right actually! That's fairly fast for most video game standards.
Who knows maybe it's this May?

Huh, that is short. I don't know of anything happening in the next 4 days. But there is the weird smattering of gaming announcement shows that have replaced the old "E3" all happening at the beginning of next month, Civ VII could show up in one of them.

It should I mean it would give a lot more space to make that civ 8 already as well.
