Music of Civ VI

I just checked. The full Civ V soundtrack was less than 3 hours. Do you understand the meaning of the word "dozens"?

But I am not talking about "dozens" hours of music.

And the thing is Civ V music was not repetetive. So it FEELS like it's "dozens" of hours.

Those were my concerns from the beginning. You can't possibly have a large selection of songs with progressing themes if you don't use some licensed songs too. Real shame that they traded dozens of hours of music for 4 versions of the same song.
Here's a poster talking about dozens of hours of music.

Well, I guess I did exaggerate a little. There's not dozens. Just one.

Here's an interview with mr. Knorr and mr. Curran about Civ V's sound design.
They claim there's 15 hours of licensed music in Civ V.
Considering there is upwards of 15 hours of licensed music in the game, it was a lot to keep track of!
That doesn't even include each leader's war and peace themes, because those were made in-house.

I'm not sure if the Civ VI soundtrack posted above is the full thing, but it's only one and a half hours. I doubt they have 13 more hours of music up their sleeve.
In terms of sheer amount of music, Civ V has them beat. I think that's a shame. It's objectively a step back.

Has anyone found the English song in the long youtube clip? Want to hear the scarborough of fair! But can't find it.

actualy found one of them at:

A lot of tracks are missing though? No America, Japan, China, England theme to be heard

Just civ-specifics. Like Russia's starts at 38:14.

But actually, listening to it, and skipping around, I believe they bungled the upload - the video starts from Kongo and plays in order from there. It straight up does not have America through Japan.
It's also missing some of the incidental tracks like The Arkansas Traveler and Greensleeves, so it's not the full soundtrack.

Yeah, you're right, it's just a preview of some of Civ themes.

Only one and a half hour of music in Civ VI? Come on, guys! How does this compare to Civ V? This will be included in my rating.

Are there any neutral tracks at all?
