Hi all!
Here is a ship that was designated to become the Numenor ship for the LOTR-scenarios. Actually, it has no recemblance whatsoever with the numenor ships painted by the-guy-who-paints-well-and-a-lot-of-lotr-stuff. The only similar things are the sail logo and the fact that it actually is a ship.
There are two different attack animations:
- flaming arrow attack, for the LOTR scenario use (there is no gunpowder in the world of LOTR).
- cannon attack, for miscellaneous scenarios. While the ship is not based on any real existing (or historical) ship, but I'll think it'll pass for some flavor ship for the civilizations long gone - who knows what kinds of ships they've made, if they survived
The 'fading death' is included, but it has a small price. In the death flc, there is no shadow for the ship - I don't know how to cast a shadow to a fog in pov-ray - but I think that's not such a big problem.
