Here is a Javelineer animation, and here is a Pikeman one. I haven't tested these properly as applicable animations, but hopefully they work.

Not sure if you want these, but here are previews of the animations that Stormy posted for me. I figured if you put them in the first post, people could get a chance to look at the animations first, and then decide if they would like to download them or not.

I think I'll definatley be needing to have a good look at that Javelineer animation when I get round to animating my Agamemnon, who is going to throw his Spear!

Yes it is, also the morph to make the chubby horse.

I have a question: Say I wanted to add an animation, how would I do that?

You go to the "poses" tab, then you click the little "+" button. Then you select which frames you want to add.

You could try your hand at your own, it can't be that hard... these animations are more intended as learning tools than generic animations for every unit, BTW,

What! That's outrageous! I didn't know that animations were not backwards-compatible like that. Seems daft as the PDM itself can be used in Poser 5 fine. You'd think animations for it could be too.

Sorry about that - I had no idea.

There's are two patches for Poser 5. A service one and a figure one, it make fix the problems.
