After losing electricity for some minutes, Civ4 started to display those "your machine is below..." messages. I disabled them in .ini, but the game still resets game options to <snip>. How do I fix this problem ?

Turns out the outage rewrited the settings profile somehow, resaving the profile anew fixed the problem. Problem is solved, admins/moderators are free to delete this thread.
