Tanelorn's Fleet

The Type 055 class (NATO reporting name Renhai class) was commissioned with the China's navy in 2019. Three more Type 055 class cruisers were commissioned in 2021. In 2022 another two warships were completed. Even though these warships are officially called "destroyers", the Type 055 class is actually larger in size and displacement than US Ticonderoga class cruisers and similar to Russian Slava class cruisers.

The Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov (in service 1991, in drydock since 2018) and its sister ship, the Chinese Type 001 Liaoning. Originally the unfinished hull of the Varyag, it was sold to China by Ukraine. Completed in China, it entered PLN service in 2012 and was joined by an improved variant, the Type 002 Shandong, in 2019.

Update for the 1970s Soviet Kiev class heavy aircraft cruiser. One was broken for scrap in 1997, two were sold to China where they are used as tourist attractions/ theme parks/ hotels. The last one, the Baku, was sold to India in 2004, where -modified- it serves as the INS flagship Vikramaditya since 2013.
Here with the modified ski-jump ramp:

The Vikramaditya replaced the INS Viraat, which was the HMS Hermes from the Falklands scenario. It was sold to India in 1987, Harriers and all and served up to 2017.

The Kolkata class, or Project 15A, of three guided missile destroyers is the successor to the Delhi class. These destroyers have AESA radar, reduced radar cross section, 16X BRAHMOS nuclear capable supersonic cruise missiles in VLS and Israeli Barak-8 AA missiles. Three entered commission between 2014-16. The class was itself succeeded by the improved Viskhapatnam class. These share the same hull but have increased automation. The crew was reduced from 390 to 300. Two of these latter ships have been commissioned by 2022, two more are being delivered by 2024.

Type 056 Jiangdao corvette. 25 in service with the PLN since 2013,4 exported to Bangladesh and 3 to Nigeria. They replace older patrol craft and some of the Type 053H frigates. The last three built for the PLN are of the 056A ASW variant. In late 2014, Argentina reportedly agreed to purchase five slightly larger variants, two to be built in China, and the remainder to be co-produced in Argentina. The ships would be called the Malvinas class. The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) reported that Algeria ordered a 96-metre "OPV/frigate" in 2020.

Three Mistral amphibious assault ships/ hellicopter carriers/ LPDs are in use by the French navy (Mistral, Tonnerre, Dixmude). Two more that were built for Russia were sold to Egypt instead, after the anexation of Crimea. These are the Gamal Abdel Nasser (ex-Vladivostok) and Anwar El Sadat (ex-Sevastopol).
A new class of two Russian LPDs, the Project 23900 Ivan Rogov is under construction since 2020. Their hull resembles that of the Mistral.

Type 075 Yushen landing helicopter dock. Three have entered service since 2021, five more are planned. Yuzhao next. It can carry 25-30 hellicopters and 3-4 landing craft.

The Type 071 Yuzhao is an 8 ship class of Chinese amphibious transport dock that entered service between 2007 and 2020. One more, the amphibious transport dock ship Changbai Shan completed trials in December 2022 and is entering servive now. It carries two medium helicopters, four Yuyi landing hovercraft, MBTs and 800-900 troops

The Type 072 (NATO reporting name: Yukan) is a class of seven tank landing ship in the PLAN. Seven were built and began entering service by the early-1980s. They replaced American-built LSTs from WW2. Four Type 072II and eleven 072III have been added to these since the early 1990s. There was a railgun testing platform version of the -III. These were followed by 15 more 072A between 2004 and 2015. They carry 10 tanks or APCs, two medium helicopters and 250 troops each.
-edit- small fix

These two are kind of along the same lines as the U.S. Navy LHA-type ship, right?

Especially the Chinese one, yes. But the America class is 45,000 tons compared to about 30,000 and can operate aircraft. The Type 075 is rumored to be getting aircraft related installations though.

@Tanelorn A modern ship conspicuous by it's absence (at least I haven't noticed in any of your, or @Fairline's modern ship collections, I don't believe) is the Charles de Gaulle French nuclear-powered aircraft carrier (or even the non-nuclear-powered, but earlier Clemenceau and Foch, which I don't BELIEVE I've seen, either).

That happens to be one I'm looking for, too. I'm also hoping to find a Shang-class submarine, but I don't think I've caught that one yet.

@Wiw Here is my attempt at the PLAN Type 091 Han and 093 Shang SSNs.

The first of the Type 091 class attack boats, was laid down in 1967 and commissioned in 1974. Because of continuing problems it was probably not operational for a decade. Four more boats were commissioned through the 1980s. Based on 1950s Soviet technology it is extremely noisy and has poor radiation shielding. It cannot launch missiles while submerged. Two have since been decomissioned. These were offered to Pakistan but were rejected.
The Type 093 SSN was developed since the mid-1980s, allegedly with help from the Russian Rubin Central Design Bureau and can launch a range of indigenous and Russian torpedoes and YJ-82 anti-ship missiles. However the 093 is believed to be noisier than the Soviet Victor III (on which it is probably based on) which entered service in 1979. Six have entered service since december 2003, two more are entering service now. 2x 093 Shang I, 4x longer 093A Shang II and 2x 093B Shang III with surface/land-attack missiles.

Revisiting Dutch post-war subs.
The Dolphijn/ Potvis looks almost identical to Soviet designs of the time, probably because of common U-boat heritage.
Don't say Dutch oven, don't say Dutch oven...

Redrawing of the HDW Type 209 subclasses, progressive enlargements of the same basic design (54.1 × 6.2 × 5.9 m, 55.9 × 6.3 × 5.5 m, 59.5 × 6.2 × 5.5 m, 61.2 × 6.25 × 5.5 m, 64.4 × 6.5 × 6.2 m).
The last two (1400 and 1500) have an extended flat top walkway. Added the Brazilian boats to the list.
I will include the Israeli Dolphin I with the Type 212 as it is a transitional design.

The Italian Sauro class follows a very similar design to the HDW boats but lacks the stepped sail and the walkway extends to the back from the get go. It is generally longer but it doesnt really show. Very good torpedoes. Correction, 8 were built, 4 are still in service.

The Toti class were the first submarines designed and built in Italy since World War II. These boats were small and designed as "hunter killer" anti-submarine submarines. They are comparable to the German Type 205 submarines and the French Aréthuse-class submarines.

And the rest. Type 205, Type 206, Gal and Kobben classes. Fixed the sails/ fins (the vertical part). The Gal class submarines were built to Israeli specifications as the Vickers Type 540 in the UK rather than Germany for political reasons.
