Hello, here you will find my completed naval ships for this time period.

The thread itself is only for discussion of completed units. If you want to discuss other naval units not yet posted please visit my thread on the main creation page.

Currently I am not taking requests for this time period nor am I planning on doing many at the moment. I will occasional add ships as they peak my interest.

Very nice! Terra Nova will make a fine Industrialization Age Transport.

But I miss an attack (or more likely defence) animation.

I know that Terra Nova did not carry any cannons, but maybe some light defence fire (Rifles)?

I am looking for more to come!

She looks fine in the game too.



Here the Steam Barque returns from a milk run with her escorting Protected Cruiser (by Tom2050).

Since the Terra Nova model is significent smaller than the Clippers by Colonel Kraken and Aaglo (both with space for 4 units and 7 MP) , I have given her a smaller capacity (2 units) and a slightly higher speed (8 MP).

And is it me, or does Terra Nova look more structured and with more clearer details than Deltas other units?

Glad you like the Terra Nova gentlemen. Do not worry about not having the attack there will be others that can fill that role in the future. Not sure why the details are clearer I have not done anything different with her.

Oh my, what a nice addition.

An era that was bristling with development on the High Sea.
The last of the great sails, and some new steam engine ships I do hope will be brought forward in the most amazing Delta Shipyard.
Could I hope for Gloire, HMS Devastation ??

I can not stop wonder whats your definition of "Many" is.

I love them, and I will find a way to add them all (or at least most) without changing the tech tree (they may be no longer german in the game ).

I have scuttled the Firaxis Frigate long ago. While not a specific Napoleonic Frigate, the Frigate by Aaglo or the Corvette by Orthanc are not so shaby: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=83 and http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1258

The Constitution was built in 1797, and fought in the Quasi War with France, before engaging the Barbary Pirates from 1802 to 1806, and then under three different commanders taking a defeating and capturing a total of 4 British ships in the War of 1812, which record has never been equalled. How much more Napoleonic do you want it?

Besides which, the frigate really became a distinct type only during the 7 Years War, and really came into its own during the American Revolution.
