This is looking likely to make me fail my first year at uni.
Usually I am pessimistic about sequels to great games like Civ IV, but this looks very promising.

I don't really like the end of that river. It doesn't look natural. But I do love the mountains.

Yeah, the rivers are not that well constructed. I love the mountains, the borders are kinda...different

Mountains look nice, rivers and water in general needs work. Not sure how I feel about the hex tiles though.

These images are work in progress. Nothing of what we see here will actually look the same in-game. I am not worried. All Civ instalments have always been better and flashier than their great predecessors. I'm looking forward to this.

Out of all the screenshots, the rivers are the only aspect i dislike. It wont effect gameplay, it just makes it better.

I completely agree. The rivers truly look awful.

The hexagonal grid will probably take a while to get used to, and I'll hate it for the first bit, but I'm pretty sure I'll like it more afterwards.
