Classical Era Tech Tree

i don't really see the draw of having over 9000 techs but i guess people do like things like that thats why people play rise of mankind with its bloated tech tree with techs whose only purpose is to lead to another tech with no benefits for researching it besides that quotes pulled from whatever tv shows zappara likes. civics created with no real balance to them and other things that make the game grind to a halt once you reach the late game

civ 4 teach tree wouldn't work in a game without tech trading.

...Yea that's just dumb. -Beyond- dumb. Here's hoping that after Civ5 flops, Jon Shafer is unable to find more work. With anyone.

tech trading was horrible in civ 3, civ 4 and civ rev, i say good riddance.

Is anyone really surprised? Civ 5 seems like all about "getting casual" and like you can read even here, people enjoy having a dumbed down version .. sad

To also have a game that is extremely unbalanced and bloated.

Two hundred hours isn't really fun if the game is collapsing under it's own bloat.

lol you're such a cry baby drama queen if you think civ5 is going to be "casual" and "dumbed down" when all the press and previews i've read say the opposite. seriosuly you've been qqing all over the site.

this is why i usually stick to apolyton.

um, the tech agriculture is unlocked automatically at the beginning, so there's two tiers only for research in the ancient era.

besides, according to the time scale, a turn in the classical era is actually longer than one in medieval in terms of number of years...
