My big fear about this picture is the turn 107. Its 1740 and only turn 107???

How short is that game?

That is a little odd...especially when you consider that tanks are appearing atturn 250 (1940). Maybe it was just a 'quick game' so they could take these later shots?

I hope/think it was an 'advanced start in industrial age'.

I can imagine you can choose different game lengths and different eras to start in.

And I doubt these shots are from real games, more likely just demonstrations that are set up.

Considering the small charted area on the minimap, this is clearly a demo game. I would have explored much farther afield by the time I developed cavalry & cannons!

this is from the IGN prerelease video. They are using a test or demo version i think. You can watch the video on youtube
