    The Cold War Deluxe; 1950-1991

I have had problems in the past with WinRAR and my work-around has been to start the DL process over. Uninstall TCW. Upon looking to download from Storm over Civ; do not download....instead use the "install" command. My ISP or Network (cannot determine which) apparantly does not correctly packet...

    The Cold War Deluxe; 1950-1991

I had the same problem. Do not download but execute from the link and then tell the downloader where to install the program -- This varies dependent upon which version of Civ3Conqests, Complete, etc you have loaded on your computer.

Understood, has anyone made an offer to buy the source code.

    About That Source Code ...

To Clarify: The Civ 3 Community seems to want open source code for this commercial product and it is reasonable that there may be resistance to that. A limited release requiring a group or small limited liability entity open source with some form of intellectual property security may be a...

    About That Source Code ...

Has anyone approached Take Two or the other powers that may be with an approach to a limited license including the source code, APIs, etc. Maybe with some $ involved? Some years back the disastrous release of MOO3 was made playable by a "patcher" created by "Bhuric" -- Yes - And it even...

    The Great War

I am playing this mod for the first time and it truly follows some of the historical moves of the Entente and Alliance. Oh, the carnage.

Hakkie, you are actually doing quite well for a vanilla Italian position. I used the Italian position for playtesting some of my pet theories of this MOD last year. Though I haven't tried v2.5 yet, I found the Italian position to be challenging but not impossible even at deity level with some...

I agree with all the playtesters that a solution regarding railroad construction to improve the AI is necessary. I think that The Dragonlord's idea is worth exploring rather than the complete removal of railroads.

    WW2-Global

I have been enjoying the efforts of all of the modders for years. I now have some time to try to give back some time in helping to offer some additional pet ideas and receive the feed back from the rest of the community if there is a similiar interest. Currently I have been working on a playable...

    Quick Answers / 'Newbie' Questions

1-There are four versions of Civ3; "Vanilla," Play the World, Conquests and Gold. Your update 1.29 is for the original or "Vanilla" version. WW2Global requires the Conquests expansion pack or the Gold version. 2-Regarding the features and how to use them. You might try turning on the Tutorial...
