Interesting. I play on XBone and generally can see a lot of similar bugs/fixes discussed here. I've also never had to re-install and havent had too bad of crash issues, maybe 1 time per four hours playing
Did I read somewhere on here that Barb City-States will become a Barb Clan again if the CS is razed? If I didn't make that up, then that could be a reason to know the difference between a Barb CS and Standard CS
Playing on at least King almost seems a must from my perspective, maybe even Emperor. Otherwise the hits the AI takes when entering a dark age are just too much for them to handle

More civs could also mean more Dark Ages in a given age and thus more flipped cities that then apply loyalty pressure. There might be a sweet spot somewhere
In my Emperor game (standard speed, standard map size, splintered fractal, low sea level, +2 AI opponents) there was only one instance so far where a Civ looked like it might be in trouble (I'm in the Rennaisance Age rn)
