yes. without a road it only gives it's tile yield.

it doesn't make sense to be able to found buddhism or christianity/islam without being or at least having a hindu or jewish city. the ai pumps out missionaries so it wouldn't necessarly put all the religions in one country. you would a chance of developing holy lands(jerusealum,india).

this was fun. despite zara's scorn, in the end it was christ that saved him.

they are very useful for newly conquered lands. i think all the great people are balanced with perhaps the great spy being the only exception.

i think the standard numbers work out that way for all sizes actually. i play alot of my games between small and large so i'm just guessing at huge.
