click on your foriegn advisor, then on the tech sub category. There should be a list of techs beside your name.. these are techs you have that one or more other civs dont have. Any tech beside one of the other civs is one you dont have

Ive run out out names as well and yes it keeps going from civ to civ as names for each civ runs out ( on a lrg marathon game with a warlord difficulty)
