I agree with Lancers and Anti-Tank since you don't need a massive amount, but attack helicopters are VERY useful in numbers. Though obviously they're late in the tech tree.

Generally I play ICS or a Wide Empire as some people call it, what are some of the best beliefs for this type of strategy? Most people on the forums talk about Tall Empires, I would assume Church Property would be pretty good, what else should I take?

I understand that 90+ relationship with a city state can be a big deal at certain points in the game, but every time I get a great person I'd rather use it myself than gift it away. Does anyone have any tips of making the most out of this UA?

Did the developers cut out or simplify some of the animations concerning combat? The most glaring example is shooting arrows at an enemy unit, they seem to just "disappear" instead of doing a quick death animation. Was this done to just make the game faster? I don't have quick combat on, I...

Even though I hardly post on these forums, just wanted to lend my support and say that I love your show ;)

Same as me, I play on Prince and consistently see the AI with 30-40+ happiness mid game without even the piety try which only then would be plausible if they were also very lucky with luxury resources as well. I also owned about 2/3 of the wonders including most of the happiness centered ones.

Is anyone else coming across a bug where a city state doesn't recognize a road that connects to your capital (For the quest) in the latest patch? I've done in three times in separate games and even after five turns of the route being completed it's not fulfilled. I've tried reinstalling too...

I like them as well, the oil paintings in addition to the quote attached really make it feel like you accomplished something...well wonderful. Now if only the wonders themselves were good (From a game perspective). Most of them are just stat enhancers.

Glad I'm not the only one, I wish there was just more dynamic buildings and not cookie cutter options.

Does anyone think that the building progression (For example, barracks to military academy to arsenal, etc.) is really...boring? This applies to theaters and really most other buildings. I think this simply due to the fact that all of them are just 15% better their their former counterparts...

Sorry Dale, even though I have everything maxed and even though my game looks like your screenshots, in my opinion (And others) that's still looks like garbage.

I think you'll enjoy Marathon then, it's not as extreme as yours but still very long.

Does anyone think the jump between Epic and Marathon for game speed is too much? I mean Marathon seems too slow in my opinion, and I always used that for Civ 4. Also, I don't think Culture scales with the game speed, meaning you can have a more progressive Civ earlier than later, unless I'm...
