wait until you pick up rocktopus. That thing... was so bad.. I never got it into battle on a marathon game - the lines changed too fast for it to keep up. The xeno titan was pretty cool - slow - but can move fast on roads and water.

Most of my maps are littered with the miasma - I seem to always be picked up 1 harmony to get the tech that makes your workers immune to miasma. Once you get that tech you can also use workers to remove miasma 1 hex at a time. A great way to clear paths for trade routes or troops. Likewise...

Is there any point in building a wonder? +4 science or +5 culture. One even gave me something like +3 of what ever. I was shocked that I waited 50 turns on a marathon game to build that!

I have no doubt this is a true statement. My logic behind asking is... the game has been out how long? I figured... if it is possible it would have happened? I would imagine this also means that a space maps and scenarios are not possible... or extremely hard to do... and asking newbie...

I am also surprised no... space mod like in CIV IV either ?

I have not played Civilization V since... oh... a few months since it came out. I recently bought all the major expansions: Brave New World, Gods and Kings, Scrambled Continents Map Pack, and several minor ones like: Babylon, Denmark, Korea, Mongols, Genghis Khan, Ancient Wonders, etc...

Like in Civ IV BtS Are there any good space maps/scenarios for CIV V ? I was playing a steam game called Starpoint Gemini and it reminded me of Star Fleet Battles/starfleet command. Then it hit me... are there any civ maps or scenarios similar to that ... in here? Or any that youall...

Does NATIONAL WONDERS work if you build it and then you found a new city and it has no building on it. For instance, I build the National College at one of my cities. I decide to make a settler and make a new city. Does the city that has National College still get the bonus of Science...
