Have you installed the patch? I have had no crashes since I installed it, and it improved performance significantly.

Patch has greatly improved the game for me. Runs much more smoothly, no crashes, and the AI actually seems smarter (it initiates auctions now as well). I'm pretty happy with it. Hopefully with the improvements we'll see some more online games now. :)
