    Master of Mana Xtended

Hi Esvath! And many many thanks for keeping this alive... you probably do not remember me but I was a old time poster on the old boards, both official and on the MoM site. I was really scared when I noticed the site disappearing, I have less and less time to play nowadays and I used to check...

How's the spell system supposed to work? (MoM)

That's great! If I understand it correctly you have the option of casting both an empire-wide terraform able to change more random tiles, or a surgical one, changing less but selected tiles, right? That would be the best of two worlds!

How's the spell system supposed to work? (MoM)

Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm with you here, I too prefer the current system :goodjob: Terraforming as global action works REALLY good imho, the only exception are those spells that alter the nature of the map. In your example map, Erebus, removing "this" or "that" peak should have a great...

How's the spell system supposed to work? (MoM)

I can understand you, but have you tried using erosion/rise lands in your games? Found some actual uses for them? Because in my experience peaks and ocean tiles are simply too delicate to let a random function deal with them... I could agree with you that the current system is a lot less...

How's the spell system supposed to work? (MoM)

Hehe that's not scorch ;)... Scorch is positive terraform, it removes Ice, Tundra and marshes in your influence. I think there is another hostile terraform, desertification or somehing similar, wich dries up your opponents land in a bad way (grass-->plain-->desert) but I still have to try an...

How's the spell system supposed to work? (MoM)

... Well for now just save, cast, check the building and choose if it's useful :p One serious question, has anyone managed to see the scorch terraform in action? In my current game I tried casting it lots of times (to get rid of marshes/tundra) but while casting rise lands or sanctify (do not...

How's the spell system supposed to work? (MoM)

Hi there! I've recently started fiddling with Wildmana and the latest release, Master of Mana. First of all I must say I'm really impressed, this mod deserves the MoM acronym more than everythng else I've ever played (except well, you know, MoM :mischief:) I'm starting to get a grip of the...

    GPP control and RiFE

Just assign a specialist... IIRC you should get an yellow outline around forced specialists. Remember to check when city size increases, or the governor won't add any new specialists.

    GPP control and RiFE

To answer the OP, force a specialist and you'll keep plot automation without auto-assignment of healers.

True. But neither does a focus in agricolture results in more food. What usually is left of those cultures, are the results of what they built, to support their farming. Aqueducts, cisterns artificial canals. Now, in my mind, those workers are the peoples living in the farms, your labour is...

If you see aristocracy as closer to "feudalism" yes... Thing is, many agrarian society where not rued by aristocracy, the Greeks, the Romans etc... Agrarianism meant that the majority of the workforce is linked to the farmstead. Now, feudal agrarianism used to "tax" heavily over the workforce...

    Balance Feedback

I'm not in the Team, but I'm really happy with this change.. First, it removes the Aristograrian uber-combo (why run anything else for 70% of civs?) Second, is closer to a feudal* agriarianism system, where farmers where used as a regular workforce (You could see this in the roman empire, and...
