    RB25 - The Golden Five

Lurker's Comment: Seeing as how they'll need to be building Wonders sooner rather than later in order to get teh GP they need to trigger 4 golden ages, AND they have to build the Taj Mahal, I'm going to go out on a limb and say rampant warfare is probably not the best idea in the world. It's...

    RB25 - The Golden Five

(Lurking) Wow! That's, um. That's an interesting start location... Initial location? Beautiful! Rest of it? Not so much... :p Subscribing to this one. Should be quite entertaining!

Not trading with the worst enemy?

This is not entirely accurate. It is actually possible to have a complete love-in where everyone has Pleased or better relations with everyone else, and everyone will trade with everyone else. You may not get Open Borders with everyone with just Pleased, but you won't get slammed much. If...

Worker destroying towns to build farms

It's been so long since I played III that I don't really remember. Either way, it's easier to tell a worker explicitly to change an improvement, and better tactically.

    My questions

It really is a case by case basis. If you can afford the cities, keep them. If they're holy cities, keep them. Depending on the civics you have, buildings you have, and wonders you have, new cities aren't always a drain like they look like they could be. The only thing deserts are good...

    Alexander is still living ?

Start trading world maps with any other survivors. One of them may have seen where he is at. Keep in mind that unless the fog of war is lifted in an area, you won't see any improvements or new cities in that area after exploring it.

    In game tutorial

Had you already met Gandhi when it did that? I don't think the tutorial actually places Gandhi until it tells you that you can go meet him. The scripting could be broken by the save game.

    Cultural Wins...?

I believe it does on the Victory Conditions page. And there's also a panel that will tell you what speed you're on (game settings I think).

Worker destroying towns to build farms

It's in the Main Menu - Options (escape - options in game). It's in the same place you can turn on Stack Attack and Show Enemy Moves

    RB1 - Cuban Isolationists

For what? There's nobody left! Unless they leave some fog for a while and get new Barbarians.

What's the point of early temple in capital?

You can always build military units...

Leaving Last Enemy City = lots of money

No it doesn't. Cities keep their population when you capture them. They might lose some via starvation, but they certainly don't drop to population 1.

    Work boats?

A work boat is not a worker. When it creates an improvement, it is destroyed.

    Catherine Cottage Spam

I had a game with three hills with gold on it all south of my capital... in the middle of a desert. :dubious: That was annoying. It could have been a fishing village since it was coastal, but there were no food bonuses in the water.

    Catherine Cottage Spam

So, I decided to test this strategy on a Noble game. I'm only posting the 4000BC Autosave. You'll probably understand why as soon as you see it. My eyes bugged out of my head and my brain leaked out of my ears when the game loaded. Of course, I proceeded to screw it all up, but hey...
