This is why I don't buy games that are dependent on the continued existence of any one company. Give me a game that, once installed on my computer, I can play forever regardless of what happens in the business world. (Also why I never considered the new SimCity.)

Personally, I almost never build carrier decks. ICS is often potent enough that I'll build numerous sea bases as way-stations so my air units can get greater range. I've played up to the middle (middle + 1?) level, so it may change for higher levels. But that's my play style, FWIW.
