I am having the same problem in my current game where I took over 2-territories from Greece and my stability is -285 a turn. There is no way to recover from this, so will have to Concede. Am thinking this needs to be changed.
Thanks, Dale. I have tried what you said, using all combinations of clicking, but still No Joy. Am guessing it is a Mac bug. I have submitted a Bug Report:
I am using a Mac w/ the current verion of the OS (Big Sur 11.5).
1. I cannot get any unit on the map to move anywhere. They will do...
I tried that, too. Workers will do things in their hex (farm, build road), but no unit will move. I have also tried holding down various keys, to no effect. But when I hold down the <Alt> key and left-click, a rosette appears that lets me put an order in the destination hex. Don't know what the...
Well, guys, I followed all your suggestions, but No Joy. I could not get any of my units to move, even though there were Orders available, no one was sleeping, and no Auto-Move. I would Right-Click on a Unit and drag to an adjacent hex, but the Unit would not move. The only option the game gave...
I am stuck at the beginning, meaning I cannot get units to move. The Orders are there, but Right- or Left-clicking on a unit and trying to drag it to a new hex accomplishes nothing. I need an epiphany.
Is there a game manual available?
I submitted an email to Aspyr w/ my game save folder as they requested. Suggest you do the same. The link to do so is above.
I will also say that the game plays fantastically on the Windoze side.
^^This^^
is happening to me. I just got my new iMac up and running, but Civ VI locks-up hard around turn-26 and I have a lot of difficulty even shutting it down.
This is my setup, which is identical to what was posted in the article referenced. Am running Big Sur with a 3.6GHz 10-core Core i9...
I also quit and went back to Civ: BE. There is no challenge, tension, or suspense in 6. I play and the AI plays and the AI eventually wins. This needs a huge patch.
I played the Mac version and was bored and frustrated. Nothing of consequence happened until suddenly the AI won. Am now playing the PC, patched version and like it a lot.
Steam said I needed to upgrade to Sierra for it to run. I upgraded, and it works fine.
However, now that I installed the just released Sierra update file, the game locked up when I tried to exit it, and I had to do a Forced exit.
Have you updated your graphics drivers, DirectX 11, and all the other update files? I had to do that (took 14-hours) to get the game to run on the Windoze side.
When the game came out for the Mac side, I had to upgrade to Mac Sierra.
