I was under the impression that the required upkeep simply indicated how large a portion of your economy must be under the military section, functioning as an upper cap on the size of your military. I'll be sure to do it correctly next round.

I'm a big fan of the detail you put into the updates! The addition of the pictures adds even more to the already thick atmosphere. I'm sorry I haven't said anything to this effect previously, but being new has made me cautious about posting.

The piece attributed to Flat Earthers' pretty epic, in my opinion. I looked at it enlarged, and I have to say that the detail lost in the smaller version doesn't do it justice. I particularly like the windows in the building that double for nostrils, and the pharaoh beard isn't as big a deal.

The first one reminds me of a pharaoh, the what looks like scaffolding by his chin becoming that iconic beard. I'm sure it has a name. I don't know if this is intentional or not. I think I prefer these to your previous art pieces; these look more composed and complete.

Uppsala would seem a better choice as a capitol for Svedia. It was the cultural center of that part of Sweden during medieval times, and Stockholm wasn't founded until the 1200's (and wasn't the capitol until the 1400's... nevermind the Kalmar union)
