Replace Isis, Serapis and Dionysus with "Greco-Egyptian Mysteries"?

    Jamie's Rome 1.3/2.1

Actually, I say you should go all out with the religions. The eastern empire had a helluvalot of "mystery religions," but we can represent them with some of the more significant ones. Serapis, Isis, Mithra, and Dionysus. Mystery religions were these things that popped up after the fall of...

I have two suggestions, both regarding the Middle East: -Add Mithraism, Zoroastrianism and Egyptian Polytheism as religions. Mithra was a Persian goddess popular with Roman soldiers, Zoroastrianism was the religion on the Parthian nobles, and Egyptian Polytheism was the base of many Greco-Roman...

2nd UU and 2nd UB for DoC

One of the most overlooked Persian innovations was the kanat (Farsi: kariz; Arabic: qanat; Balohi: kahan). This is a form of irrigation for dry climates, that draws water from mountains. The way it works is hard to explain, and quite ingenious. And it's still around today, 3000 years after its...

    Glory and Greatness

You should make the Persians' first UB a Qanat/Kariz (Aqueduct replacement). Unlike satrap's courts, some of those are still around.

The problem here is that the whole "Muslim bloc" thing would not be realistic, because these countries are all part of their own blocs (ex. Saudis are really American vassals; Turkey is closer to EU; Libya 2010 was Commie) IRL. But this is Civ, so that doesn't really matter.

See, if I raze that little mine on the edge of Greece, a single Phalanx will rise up and kill a bunch of my Immortals.

Don't worry, they will. But this is Civs in Abundance, which means that (SPOILER) Byzantium rises in their place. D'oh!

    Shhnameh, the Book of Kings

The capture of Niwt-Rst has caused the collapse of Egypt. Meanwhile, in Europe, a new religion has been founded. A man named, Ιησος, claiming to be the Jewish messiah, had been executed in Greece some years prior. Now, his apostles have spread his message throughout the...

I see you're adding Parthia and Seleucia. Very nice... Now will you make Zoroastrianism and Mitraism proper religions in game?

You lack Parthia. I am disappoint.

The United States switched from Slavery to Empancipation in 1866...but then their stability fell during Reconstruction, so they switched to Caste System. Finally, with the happiness penalty too high and Great Prophet Martin Luther King, Jr. being born, President Kennedy switched back to...
