Jamie's Rome 1.3/2.1

ok then when I get around to it I will attach a replacement map with oceans inside and instructions for where to put it just in case.

I am going to try and get some pictures of rebellions in action :D just got to wait for a nasty one :mischief:

list of fixes/additions for 1.3.2
New
Some new religious national wonders are going to be made, these will replace the National Park, Globe Theatre, Heroic epic and Iron works. when you build these they require 4 temples or your state religion and once you build one you cannot build it's counterparts in other religions

Promo for units build in a Heroic epic city

Changes/Balancing
some minor map changes will be made
Balance egypts power
Some new art
Tweaking Caesars personality

Possible inclusions
Adding of rebellion difficulty - An option which will affect the severity and frequency of rebellions.

I see you're adding Parthia and Seleucia. Very nice...

Now will you make Zoroastrianism and Mitraism proper religions in game?

will be releasing 1.3.2 soon and beginning work on 2.1, just checking everything is working without bugs!

All cities on the map are founded with accurate names (a system simmilar to Ryhes and fall but a little more sopishicated :p)

Egypt's power has been balanced, now egypt loses 0.5 hammers for every plains tile they are working, this is twinned with the +1 food on plains tiles. the hammers are rounded.

couple of new wonders and a new project: Via Appia which builds roads on ALL tiles owned by the builder (world project). New wonders include pantheon, flavians ampitheatre, circus maximus, trajan's column, constantine's arch and the sphinx

sorry for the wait for those interested in the mod (TopSecret :p)

Not to worry. My life has been crazy recently, and I just went on a week vacation. (Got back early!)

Good mod, however around 269 AD (soon after the Germans are out of the game), it keeps crashing. I tried to get around but with no success. I am playing 1.3 with the Romans.

Maybe it has something to do with the custom game? I am playing with Conquest and Domination victory on and removed the others. However I guess the mod was meant to last more than 267 or 269 AD.

actually 267AD is pretty late

game ends 310AD

Dunno why you have a bug, could be something I fixed recently.

@TopSecret sorry I have not been doing much  very busy these days, but the funny thing is I have had the new patch sitting around waiting for upload for 2 months now :p

I will update tonight... unfortunatly it will probably break saves I'm afraid... if you turn on python exceptions does it tell you anything?

I removed units animation in the graphic options and played until 271 AD until it stopped working again. But I am pretty sure my pc is not the problem it is pretty new.
I dont know anything about Python, sorry :) Windows doesnt provide any report about what went wrong (I am far from being a tech guy sorry)

If I had been able to reach 310 AD would the game continue if I play with conquest/domination ?

Thanks!

If I

don't know... never got the end without winning before :p it will work like normal civ does. turn 500 is 310AD and if time is turned off who knows what happens.... either you lose or it carries on

in your config file for civ4 scroll down untill it says hidePythonExceptions = 1; and set it to 0

then in your game see what happens when it crashes

oh also I think I got some screenshots of rebellions around which I can post on the front page too :D

yup take a look on the first post :D 70% uploaded

Ok, 1.3.2 is up! will break saves!

Dacia's (which will be in it) power will flip nearby cities when one is razed based on distance and size :D
