Lurker:
Great game, really enjoying following it.
Sounds like your nearing the end, but would some one mind throwing in a few maps? It would help us loyal fans follow along.
Also wouldn't mind admiring a shot of Big Thumpers promotions.
Thanks much:goodjob:
Several good ideas here to increase the need for micromanaging.
Earlier incarnations of Civ required you to specify where and how to trade specific goods. Civ4 got rid of this and good riddance. In the end it just produces commerce, so why would a player want/need to mess around with this...
Nat Park is also good on an OCC without any foreests, simply for allowing higher population without health resources.
Between no unhappiness and no unhealthyness you can get a pretty big city!
Seems easy enough to test out.
Give yourself max points, start a game, build all the things you want, figure out how many points that takes.
Start a new game, set point value to what you used in the test.:goodjob:
Not neccesarily, it would depend on how big a fragment. It is very possible that it would just destroy the forest.
This event seems like a reference to the Siberian event from the 1930's?
You are refering to the national debt. http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/
In actuality roughly half of the debt is owned by Americans.
Foreign ownership of debt actually makes the dollar stronger.

The problem with machine guns is that you still need to have some attack units as well. So having a MG just means you have to build more units. I would much rather build two infantry in stead of one infantry and a machinegunner.
Its a great way to unwind after a stressful day at work.
Often I will spend my long, frustrating commute home, planning out my conquests in my current game. By the time I get home, work stuff is completely gone from my mind and I am ready to :ar15:
:mischief: Actually the wonders list tells you which civilization built a particular wonder, not which city it is located in.
Wonders will show up on the map if you look closely. Some of them are easy to see on the map (pyramids for example) than others.

Nice work, I really enjoyed the read.
OCC games make for good stories for lurkers, with less units/cities/builds to try and keep track of.
So thanks a lot for doing it.:goodjob:
