You are having trouble with relatively simple game mechanics, so, logically, an easier difficulty setting will allow you to learn the mechanics without the frustration of losing. Also a hint for future posts: Don't attack those who only want to help you. Peace.

I figured the hidden files out. Both players have deleted the cache but still sync errors occur after 5-10 turns.

It's not really a bug and you posted it in the bugs forum.

How do I get windows to show hidden files?
