Difficulty of going from Noble to Prince?

Frankly, I didn't notice much of a difference at all... all you really have to do is pay more attention and get used to the change in barbarians early on. The jump from Prince to Monarch is far more substantial, at least in my experience.

    the Internet

The internet is, in my opinion, the most important wonder in the game (besides perhaps the Pyramids). Many a game has been salvaged by being the first to get it; I have on occasion received 10 or more techs from it. Granted some are military tradition and divine right and such, but often I...

Mad Scientist POll for the Next RPC

Hmm, I feel like a lot of these options just mean "take over the world." Boudica, Napoleon, Stalin, Rameses... to me the best ones are really thematic, like Joao or Brennus. Win however you want, but with the right conditions for flavor.

Role Play Challenge: Charlemange the Blessed

Didn't Al fail a few times too? To me the map isn't the problem... Shaka just got off to a great start and crushed his way to victory. You could potentially have won if Shaka were even a little less powerful, I suppose you helped him too much at the start. Anyway, good luck on round 2, I...

Hmm, I actually sort of like the idea of having "museums" as a regular building, much like a university or a library. But I just don't get having any museum be a world wonder, when there are so many and so many great ones.

I guess I'll give you a pass on rudeness since English doesn't seem to be your first language... but I've been to the Louvre, "thinking" isn't going to make me realize that it's so far and away superior it can't be compared to other museums. The Louvre is the most famous, I suppose, but...

    Civ-Specific Features

That's actually a VERY cool idea. If you had a traumatic invasion early on, you become more protective... if you've been betrayed a lot, less trusting... You could even make it trait related, like you become aggressive if you had some early conquests, financial with early trade, expansive...

Also, I would assume Machu Pichu and Petra could be both, the way Chichen Itza is.

Zenon: Fine, then rename the Hermitage the Louvre... I don't see any reason why one art museum should be such a unique achievement that no one else can have it.

    Feature of annoyance

Oh dear, the unhappiness of the Soviet people caused unbelievable problems. If anything, the least realistic civic in the game is police state. Imagine how many people have to be paid to operate one? How much money and time has to be spent to monitor so many people? How many great minds are...

    Traits - best to worste

I respectfully disagree here. Here's a nice post from Snaaty that (in part) refutes that a little: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=6564508&postcount=178 Plus there's always Obsolete out there doing his thing, though I suppose it's always on Immortal and not Deity. Personally...

Details that will "make" the game..

I would say the biggest problem with submarines is that they have no real purpose besides transporting missiles. What good is a 24 strength unit when there are 30-strength ones just as cheap? The sub should get a bonus against something, or under certain circumstances. Small tweaks that would...

I think the Hermitage already covers the Louvre... the point is that it's your big art museum, meaning Metropolitan Museum of Art, Louvre, Hermitage, Rijksmuseum, National Gallery, etc.

    Almost there; leveraging protective

I would have to say THIS is the illogical statement. Without knowing where iron may be located, you will be using less information when founding your cities than you could be. How can it possibly HURT you to know where there is iron? I'm not saying you delay founding cities entirely... by all...

    Almost there; leveraging protective

The "all traits are equal" argument does not hold water, in my opinion. The fact that you "do not change civics often" makes spiritual less useful to you, but it is utterly incontrovertible that spiritual can be leveraged in nearly every game, to dramatic effect. The problem is that the...
