    civzombie, if after u discover a tech, and u go trading with other civs, but other civs already have the tech, then they discover it first... if no one has the tech, n u r able to trade with them on the tech, then u r the discoverer... :)

    great idea, especially when u intends to help ur allies defend themselves, u can sell them lots of hardware cheap cheap... giving them lots of money doesn't imply that they will rush more units, so the best way is to give them lots of units...:)

    Jaybe, i try clean map before, but the map surface that i played on is simply too big... u will get back the control of workers on Shift-P (auto pollution duty) when there is no more pollution to be clean... so u can reassign that to do other things... this is how i play my game...

    when france respawn, it has 7 infantry, 5 longbowman, 3 workers and 1 settler... unfortunately, unable to spy how much golds they have, cause 007 is on holiday... :p

    hi NiceOne, france respawn some distance away... yes there is a lot of free land, cause the game is played in map size 256x256. i read from a thread sometime back that when respawn, the civ will get something like 1 settler, 1 worker, 2-3 offsensive/defensive units and 10x the starting...

    my current game is 256x256, huge pangea, diety level, me+15AI... anyway, we had reach a maximum of 500 cities... before i conquer france, i make sure they have no settler running around (useful knowledge courtesy of 007)... once i conquer and raze the city, immediate france is re-spawn in...

    i used to sell all my ganary just 1 turn before i finish pyramid, to get extra golds... then later i found out that u can still sell those ganarys that u build urself(not the one that pyramid gives u) ;)

    army will move with the speed of the slowest unit, defend with the statistic of its best defensive unit and attack with the statistic of its best offsensive unit... best combi-- MA and MI
