    Because an embryo, once fertilized, WILL become a fully sentient, intelligent human if the process isn't tampered with. A cow never will.

    As for the disabled, my argument won't make sense, but I say they have a right to live BECAUSE they are humans.

    Many pro-lifers (I don't happen to be one of them) think abortions when the mother's life is threatened because of the self-defense principle. I don't agree with it, but its still within the confines of pro-life ideology.

    As for fertilization, I primarily accept that because of A: Religious reasons, and B: Because of my VERY STRONG belief in human exceptionalism. But a sperm or egg is clearly not life, because it hasn't even started to grow.

    Can you answer my question about the 18 days? Do you accept a fetus at 18 days (Who would at that time have a beating heart) should receive human rights? I would like an answer. Until you give me an answer, I'm not going to answer anything else...

    I can't prove it scientifically before 18 days however, so lets go to that. Is the child a human at 18 days?

    The answer is because it was the offspring of a human and a human. Human exceptionalism and my beliefs in God may have to do with that.

    By 18 days however (Beating heart), the fetus is unquestionably human. Agree or disagree?

    There's some people that aren't on it, I think. I noticed DaveShack & Abaddon weren't, so I assume there's others who've only played more recently that are missing from it, also.

    I've actually gone on and on a couple months back on why I don't like this kind of poll and those are just a couple of the reasons I've cited. Dig my posts up if you feel like it, but I won't vote anyway.
