    Well, the bots can get really aggravating and at times it feels as if they were cheating. Lead isn't that good a form of justice, there's plasma and explosives and such, although gatling guns are very useful.

    Rap is vastly preferable to pop. All right, I sometimes listen to Aqua but only as a buffer between two other markedly different styles.
    But, for 'pop', I'd rather have Miljoonasade or Juice Leskinen than Pharrell Williams shouting he's happy, or *shudder* Madonna's crap.
    Is it true that mate is taking a hold in Finland as a curiosity? Perhaps it is thankfully limited only to Helsinki.

    Since we're at it, I recommend that you download and install a game called OpenArena, it's a blast!

    Heh. :) I am not American, yet I dislike football and couldn't care less about WC. However, my two older boys feel very different. Thankfully, this thing ends in two weeks. My Better Half and I can't wait. :D

    And more seriously, no pressure, man. I know I was teasing you before, but I do understand that all of us have different priorities in life. For true fans WC is a major event that takes place once in 4 years. I very much dislike it, but I understand. :D Good luck to whoever you are rooting for! :)

    Anyway, my class has a talent for derailing discussion that rivals that of CFC's OT posters. We managed to deviate the subject into types of grandchildren (tyttön/pojan+tyttö/poika, lasten/lapsenlapset, etc.) and we came up with an interesting tongue-twister:
    Ovatko kaikki lapsenlapset saman lapsen lapsia?
    You can see by this (and Atticus if he's still peeking in) that we're spending our time -and money- wisely.

    btw now it's Popeda time, for the old classics. Rva. O is surprised that I like the 'old-style' bands (L& the L., Popeda, Juice, Eppu, etc.). What do young people listen to in Finland? it can't all be rap and Tekniset (the latter you should like and/or adore).

    You wouldn't believe it, but this teacher of ours has sent me a pain-inducing email titled 'toukokuun läksy'. What kind of a person sets you homework for an entire month?

    One vital problem with this Linux is that many of the fonts that people take for granted (including Arial, Times New Roman, etc.) are proprietary, but Windows' ubiquitousness hides that fact -MS have bought the rights to include them in their OS's. Nothing that compatibility packages can't fix, eh?

    Sorry, I haven't been around much lately, vacation and all :)

    Floorball is rather popular in Switzerland and it is done as a competitive sport on several levels. Switzerland can't take on Sweden or Finland yet, but behind them is pretty much one of the top competitors for #3, which is kinda suprising as non of our neighbours seem to have cought the same enthusiasm for it :)

    Myself I play in the lowest swiss league (yes, I'm that good) the 5th league :)

    My admirable cunningly lingual task shall be resumed next day of Tyr, we'll see how it goes. Composite tenses and participles are a bit of a headache.

    Now, the defeat of the Magyars, a Finno-Ugric people, is not the best outcome, but I am pleased that my future subjects are finally showing sporting progress at games that can be played without snow.
