Árpád, son of Álmos, prince of the Magyars. Under his lead, the Magyars / Hungarians entered and settled down in the carpathian bassin. This event in hungarian history is called 'the conquest'. Árpád established a new country that he was able to defend against his enemies started raids towards westerm europe. A time begun where europe was in fear "of the arrows of the Magyars". Also, Árpád gave his name to the Árpád house, Hungarys dynasty of kings till 1301 who were all descendents of Árpád.
