TCS Improved Plot Tooltip v18

Honestly, great work. I can't say it's ideal - some additional identification of building type (science vs culture vs happiness etc) would be a godsend - but it's incredibly useful and I wouldn't play without it.

This mod is a godsend. However, I confirm other comments about PC performance hit with it enabled. Everything works fine after initial load (saved or new game), but performance steadily degrades with each turn, until it becomes unbearable. I tested this issue with mod disabled, and the game works flawlessly without it: no lags, no stuttering, no FPS hit. I run Civ with 13700k / 4070 Ti, I doubt that this is the hardware issue.

After using this mod, the frame rate drops from 100+ to 10+ whenever the mouse moves rapidly over the terrain. Are there any methods to improve this?

The mod doesn't appear in my mod list in game and doesn't work for me. I installed it the same way as other mods and those all work. Anyone have a solution?

The city connections being shown alone makes this worth it, but everything else is wonderful too.

So please don't hate me, your mod is great. I've been using this one plus the Sukritact one.. but I missed the part about commenting out the tooltip part in Sukritact's. Now that they are compatible, I realize that I really like the 'The default improvement is now shown on unimproved tiles' in theirs. And chance that you would be able to squeeze in 'The default improvement is now shown on unimproved tiles' into yours? Sorry, I just hate trying to memorize it.

The best tooltips mod by far

Don't know if it's possible to edit an earlier review, but I'd like to make 5 instead of 4 stars now. My point of critique was not due to the mod, but rather a conflict from me having two mods using ../plot_tooltip.js.

This mod is very very nice to have, really fixes a lot of issue and improves the information quality from the game UI.
