Playing a huge Continents++ map now and it looks great! I love all the stepped terrain.
Superb mod!

But I just ran into a problem:
I created a town on the islands in between the continents in order to make fleets. But the fleets weren't popping up and no sign of fleets on the resource allocation screen. When I looked further into it, I finally saw that my town and the fleet-resources were NOT in distant lands (I discovered the tag on the tile display just now).

I was using Huge map on type Shuffle.
Works great here for a beta. The map is just too big for 8 Civs, I was all alone on the whole Americas as Franklin.
I've loved this map since the beginning. Thanks for the time and effort you put into it.
There are a few things that I think need to be changed, and they all have to do with scaling.
Europe is too big. I understand there needs to be room for ALL of the Euro-centric Civs in the game, but it's bigger than the USA.
Africa is too wide. Maybe this is a construction problem having to do with connecting the Middle East and Spain within a more realistic layout of our globe.
Japan is also too big. I think I remember it also being much further away from N. America.
Australia is too small. It should be the same size as USA.
I'm sure this is something that would take a lot of work to fix, but I would be happy to pitch in to cut down on the effort.
Again, much appreciated.
Heard great things about this but for some reason I am unable to get it working after download. Could definitely be user error, but I extracted to the file listed (Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments seems to work fine) but it still won't load/allow me to try it. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!
Made a civfanatics account just to say thanks Gedemon, Earth + TSL maps are the BEST out there by miles
Love this mod ! getting more than 8 civs in a game hasnt been working for me tho. hope the progress continues !
I wasn't interested in a TSL map, but your continents++ map is sooo much better than vanilla. Thank you!
The TSL for the USA modern still dont show the capitol city before hand thus making it impossible to have a capitol city.

Also the TSL for Spain discovery does not add the capitol Madrid in the center of the Hispanic peninsula.
Thanks for making this! It helped me a lot
So I love the work done, but it unfortunately (at 1.0.1 patch 2) breaks the AI on Fractal maps. I had 2 AI players who never built a second city. They built each 3 settlers, but those stayed within their capital. Another AI built 2 cities and stayed on his home island.
Only after age change to exploration did they start building more cities on distant lands.

the mod doesn't change fractal. the script added "Continents++ (YnAMP)" is an edition of Continents Plus. I've not noticed problems in my autoplays, but maybe try https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/artificially-intelligent-ai-mod.31881/
Okey, nevermind - found a natural wonder, must have been unlucky before. Was playing Isabela, so I was expecting them closer to my borders
Giant Map with Prussia and the USA has a bug in modern age: it does not build the capitol so that message appears all the time. Prussia was fine yerterday but the bug with the USA repeats.

Also TSL for Spain in discovery age is wrong, it starts in the north america.

Can you make it possible to choose all the civs in all ages with TSL for all of them?

Thanks again!!!
Awesome work as always, many thanks!
Large Fractal looks AWESOME, feels great to play. Haven't tried anything larger yet.
only thing i hate about civfanatics is its a pain in the ass downloading it i cant get this downloaded and exr\]tracted to use download works but when i try to extract it i cant use it

added a picture to show what the folder structure should be after extraction
Looks amazing, can't wait for official mod support. My second biggest gripe about the maps is how everything exists in bands - tropical then desert then grassland then tundra, so the maps are like 30% tundra and 30% desert, and 40% everything else. Is this something that you think can be changed, to make it more realistic (no bands of desert and wider areas of grassland/plains)?
Amazing work, thank you so much for the time you put into this.

I had a 2 questions/comments, if you find the time to get around to them, if not, no worries at all:
1. Everything works perfectly in multiplayer (MP). However, it seems that CIV 7's mechanic of Distant Lands influences map mods significantly in MP. Since a player is unable to work tiles with Distant Land resources in the Exploration age, spawning on the Distant Land continent puts them at a severe disadvantage. - with this in mind I was hoping to ask: how do you foresee how future map mods will deal with this? Would it be more focused on forcing players to spawn on the same continent? Or would it be more like making both Homeland and Distant Land resources spawn on both continents?

2. With respect to how players spawn in CIV VII, do you think it would be possible for a mod to be made that could control how far players spawn away from one another?

Thanks again for your time.
yes! it works perfectly right now, thank you so much! please send your wallet address so I can buy you a coffee! However, I have some questions:

1- do you think we can add more civilizations than 8?
2- and without changing between ages?
3- each era ends abruptly, I dont finish all the technologies. is it something we can fix? yesterday I lost and nothing happened when the modern age ended...
4- I believe civ 7 developers read this, maybe we can think solutions.

thanks a lot again, have a good week,
from argentina
So when I play on a massive map, I can no longer meet new civilizations. Like, the meeting dialog never shows up, and the new civ never shows up in the diplomacy ribbons (top right). This means I can't use this mod.
