[1.0.0.194] "Empty" menus at setup of game

I apologize if this is a known issue. My searches did not readily find a match.

After the Fall update (currently running 1.0.0.194), I am unable to create a custom game because all of the menu options are missing. This weekend (11/25/17) is the first time I am playing since the update. The images below are from Single Player > Create Game for the "Choose Civilization" and "Choose Difficulty" menus. In all cases, the options within each menu (all menus) are blank.

If I choose the Advanced Setup option the menus are also blank.

If I select Single Player > Play Now, the game will start as normal. If I select Start Game even with "blank" menus the game will also start. However, I have no idea what the settings are. Otherwise, the game appears to be working I just can change any of the settings (difficulty, nation, map type, map size, etc.)

So far I have...

1. Unsubscribed to all mods via Steam.
2. Cleared the cache folders.
3. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game via Steam.

Any advice?

That was what I tried first. I just did a re-re-install (deleting all remnant files) and it looks like it is working now. Thank you for taking the time replay.
