[1.0.8.4] Crash caused by railroading; also diplomacy bug

In the attached saved game, the unit yet to move is a military engineer. If you railroad the adjacent holy site, the game crashes two turns later, i.e. at the beginning of turn 274. (An autosave is generated, but I never get control, and don't get notified of a splendid commercial hub finishing.) While originally I did things on turn 273, you can simply shift-return to skip thru turn 273.

Moving the apostle there away doesn't help. Moving the relic inside doesn't help. Moving another apostle in Canada so it doesn't die to generate a relic doesn't help. But it does NOT crash if I do not rail that tile.

Also, for the diplomacy bug, my alliances recently ended, and they wouldn't accept Friends immediately after. However, from this save both Egypt and Hungary will offer Friendship, with the new option never to pester me again. HOWEVER, if I decline friendship for now, we become Friends anyways. I suspect this is due to the coding of the new option.

Update on the crash (as I'm trying to move past it to keep playing):
Using that military engineer to railroad another tile also results in a crash, so it's not that tile.
Idling that military engineer but railroading with others also results in a crash, so it's not that military engineer.
Waiting a turn before railroading still results in a crash.

So I'm guessing the railroading is causing enough pollution to trigger something, and that whatever is triggered results in my Mac running Mojave to crash. If someone with a PC tries this saved game, I'd be curious what happens.

Sent report to Firaxis as proposed (in French, French Windows).

Game quits after clicking OK.

Another update: even if I do not railroad from turn 272 onwards, it crashes at the start of turn 275 (autosave generated, but I never get control). Even if I reload autosave turn 274 and shift-return to skip doing anything, it still crashes. So I don't know what to do to continue. And I was less than 30 turns away from victory. :(

Thanks PIR for confirming it's not a Mac-bug, since it crashed for you on Windows also.

The next stage of climate change was going to happen on turn 275, which lends weight to my hypothesis that it has something to do with pollution/climate/disaster.

(Saved games available on request.)

I thought Firaxis had a representative monitoring these forums, or at least the bug reports? Should I also send them crash reports (I'm about to post another), and if so, also bug reports?

You should open a ticket to 2K and post the ref number here.
