1.52 PBEM auto-send turn

I've been trying to figure out how to get Civ 4 to automatically send my turn to the next person. I am using gmail, which requires STARTTLS(aka: SSL). The first time I set things up and tried to email it, I got a message saying "Error: Must do STARTTLS command." (Not exactly what it said, but close enough.). Then I started another game to try, just says failed, no error message. I've been trying to enable the console to try to type in STARTTLS, but I can't get it to show up. Anyone know how to set up the auto-send or how to access the console?

Personally I doubt it's possible in 1.52 and I suspect Civ is probably passing on the error it's getting from the mail server you're connecting to. Although that suspicion is just that, no actual proof either way .
