10 Turn game? WTH?

Ok so i just installed my copy of Civ 4 and i've set up my graphics and everything and when i create a new game either by hitting Custom Game or Play Now! Every game is only 10 turns long, i've looked through everything and i cannot find out how to make it a normal game, i am currently patched to 1.61

As mention in other similar threads, IIRC, it is a copy protection feature. You can always exchange your copy with the seller to get rid of 10 turns 'so-called' bug.

Isn't the demo limited to 10 turns? Never did try it myself.

The demo is 100 turns. The only ways to get a ten turn game are to use a pirate copy or a no-cd crack, which trips a deliberate anti-piracy measure.
