1000 clues your civ3 management skills need help

Maybe so, but if that's possible anybody it happens to must be stupid when it comes to civ. :crazyeye:
Oh, and:
54. You invade the AI on the other continent in the Modern Age with a force of... 100 Warriors!! Oh, And 25 spears and 25 archers.
55. Of course, they all got beat by Modern Armor (but 1 lost to 1 of your spears :D ), Mechanized Infantry, and TOW Infantry.
56. You left a single pike in your capital city- and it's the MA and MA's are attacking it.
57. The MA lost to your pike :lol:, and then the pike got beat by a warrior :lol: (this clue is just supposed to be funny)
 
58. You invade "The other continent" with 2 transports full of tanks, while you keep your MI transport 1 turn behind. (:blush:) I felt sorry for the crew...
 
Wow, many of these clues would work great in the 1000 clues you need to play civ3 more thread. Too bad it died so quickly. :(
 
We're talking about two different threads, sashie. I'm talking about the "need to play more" thread and you are talking about the "play too much" thread. The play too much thread didn't get locked- it's just that no one posted on it and the last post date is like, 3 years ago.
 
59. You spend a bezillion turns at war but not fighting, just waiting until you can build Marines just so you can whack the enemy's last city, on a one-tile island. (Guilty.)

62. Planing a war , and spreading all your offensive units , 1 unit per tile without any defensive unit .

63. when you've more than 5 workers , you automate them and they Rebuilding all your empire Tiles

64. Talk with country that Furious on you, and telling them to withdraw their units or declare war while your military is includes only few Tanks .

65. singing a Military Alliance againts ROME ( example ) , and on the next turn signing a peace with ROME . remains your Polite friend be very Furious ( you just destroyed your greatest relationship with the only country that was Gracious for you )

66. You declare war againts country because they've an Oil and Rubber ( example ) and they've a strong army . You forgot about the resources , you just think how to defend on your cities . after they capture half of your conquered empire you remind that you had a VERY BIG AND STRONG Foritrified army in some city .

I can remmember I did 65 mistake in some Emperor game :D
 
67. You purposely don't build coastal cities.
 
68. You let your settlers wander into the blackness unshapperoned
 
69. You are in the Middle Ages in 2000. (guilty)
70. You sacrifice a worker to build a colony on a resource that is within your borders via a cultural expansion next turn.

71. You research tech A (middle ages), and after a few turns you think "This is taking to long, i'm gonna switch to tech B and then get back to tech A."

72. Researching PrintingPress --> Democracy --> Free Artisty . and do not trade this .
then when you are tired of this , you're trading the 3 techs for Monarchy
 
73. You're waiting from Ancient Age untill Modern Age to declare war ..but it doesn't happen untill your AI declare war on you on and openening infinite war .

74. you always building city improvments in cities that don't need it instead of building Military. you always feel like you don't have enough army to attack . and if the AI conquer at least one city that had low defenese , you're getting nervious and loading a SAVE to fix it
 
76: You change the production of a city each turn, wasting shields each time.

77: You build a settler in a tundra city with no bonus resources.
 
78. When attacking the AI, you keep crappy tundra cities with no resources.

79. You also raze AI cities with good GW's that aren't close to their capital.

80. And AI cities with resources.
