(136) Victory points missing

Hi,

since 136 the victory point table shows only "1" for all nations, guess there is an error with the victory point counter now (no problem in the older version).

I always play with the "show Single player score menu" from the Options menu, that table shows only a victory score of "1" for all nations since vers. 136

Click here to see how scores were adjusted recently. Scores more accurately represent our actual power now, and at the start of the game, we don't have anything.

I like the new scores. They seemed pretty acurate for a while. Getting very close to the end of what most likely will be a Prince culture victory... I am in the lead of culture by a country mile, almost 6 - 10 policies above the next 3 Civs with 3 policies left to go, only Korea has 1 more Tech than I but I am most of the way through Rocketry. No one else is close and some of the other civs are still in the reniasance.

I have built most of the Wonders 10 or 12. I have a pretty decent Army as well.

I am playing tall as Neb, with 3 cities, ~32 - ~34 and ~28 populations, also conquered Thebes which is now an absorbed city with pop ~32.

I am showing as 5th or 6th out of 10 players. All of the wide players are above me on the leader board.

It's very weird that Firaxis counted techs for score, but not policies. I wish I could fix that.

Can you grant a dummy unresearchable tech for each policy acquired?

That might be possible; I'd have to do some experiments to see for sure. I'm not sure how it would affect the AI's evaluation of relative tech progress. It tends to attack tech and policy leaders, so that might amplify things.
