While playing a few games with 150.2:

1. AI's would offer a trade proposal of open borders and when I would try to accept the AI's were no longer satisfied with their trade proposal. I would then see what they wanted for it and it was usually something like 5-15 gold. Also it seemed that open borders was available as soon as I encountered my 1st AI.

2. AI's seem to instantly hate me/love me. I have a few denounce me right after meeting them and others keep telling me how awesome I was. It was not gradual or caused by one of my actions it seems.

On a side note I did see AI expansion as I would expect and only the ones I would have expected told me not to settle to close them.

In my Standard Emperor game I met England around turn 90. She only had her capital and it was pop size 2. London was well improved though with 2 stone quarries, Marble quarry, 2 whales with boats, and a farm or two. I didn't run into any barb camps holding any English settlers, but she did plop down her second city a turn or two after I met her. She also went with a liberty start, so this is strange indeed.

Wonders are also easy pickings...both Stonehenge and Mausoleum were available past turn 110, among other ancient wonders, such as the Colossus which I grabbed around this time.

I was playing as Russia and was focusing on military early to take over Hiawatha. Because of this I was running a negative gold income (average -10) for many turns (prolly turns 40-90). I avoided Writing as well so I had no libraries until late, so one would assume I would be behind in techs. However, demographics had me at #1...this just shouldn't be possible, especially on Emperor. I did find out later that every Civ went Liberty and Honor, something I don't ever recall seeing, but prolly just coincidence.

The revised trade offer is an odd quirk that has been around for a while.

I've noticed that they have a generally more negative attitude. You have to win their approval. They are often quick to go to Guarded or Afraid. This makes the game tougher, and seems consistent, so I've been okay with it.

It's not really fun when on king you meet napoleon and he tells you stop making cities near my city (even though I didn't) and then feels like denouncing me and then by turn 50 he is declaring war on me coming up with 6 warriors and 3 archers while all I have is a warrior and a scout and I lose by turn 60.

When a combative personality becomes hostile early on, you are best served researching Archery and building at least one archer quickly. I would add Masonry for its walls to the list.
