The civ was China, which gets no special GP bonuses. In fact I intentionally avoided any GP generating extra beliefs and the like because I didn't want to mess with the numbers. The analysis in question was to analyze the global GPP pool proposal, it just happened to be good data for this discussion because I had recorded exactly when and what GPs were created for that entire game....it doesn't get more definitive than that.
Maybe I'm missing something, I thought you said Arabia in your post.

Not a lot of strategy with holy law (adopt policies) or Transcendence (enter new eras) either. Some founders are just instant yields on singular, irregular triggers that happen less than once a turn. The only real strategy is that you want to spread your religion to maximize the yields scaling, and you want to grow your capital very large, meaning the belief combines well with certain starts or civ bonuses better than others, the Tradition tree, and promotes things like using more :c5food: ITRs
I agree with Holy Law. There is some thought with Transcendence around timing. However, it's not a valid counter to say [we already have bad mechanics, so let's add more].

I don’t agree that it’s a bad mechanic. There aren’t that many irregular events to tie a founder trigger to that aren’t too rare or too swingy. You have a degree of control over your holy city’s population and can change your play to try to get more triggers, and you can spread to make your triggers bigger.

The timing being something you were going to do anyways isn’t a concern to me. Hero worship’s timing is the most directed and most incentive-laden of the founders and it’s the one I detest most.

where does this 925 number come from?
Coe (the version proposed here), generates 25 science on the first conversion, 26 on the second, 27 on the 3rd, etc to a max of 25 cities. Adding all that up is 925

That's not how it works. The yield scales based on how many cities are currently following, and the limit is to how much you can gain per trigger (which currently is like 145 or so if you have 25+ cities), not how many times you can trigger it.
