2.7 Beta3 Notes (Work in Progress)

I know about their spell, and I suspected that, but does it apply to friendly neighbours? We have open borders...

All right, thanks. And apologies to everyone for wrongly reporting a potential bug!

Didn't want to start a new thread for this question, so I'm just gonna put it here.

I recently got the FFH itch, so me and a couple friends have re-downloaded it and More Naval AI to play together, and while creating the game, there seems to be significantly less options for the Erebus map type than there was the last time I played.

My only options for the Erebus map type are Size, Climate, Sealevel, Era, and Speed, and I distinctly remember having the ability to remove a percentage of mountains (my favorite, to make more choke points) and I think there were some flavor start options as well. Did these options get removed, or am I just missing something? I'm pretty sure I installed everything correctly, and I don't see any other Erebus-specific map types in the drop down menu. D:

I do not have a direct answer to your question but:
1) Flavor starts for various civilizations should work automatically. Such as Malakim starting in desert.
2) There is a file "erebus.py" which you can edit to remove mountains. Just change the value here:
Code:
self.SoftenPeakPercent = 0.0
Disclaimer: Did not try it, just based on the comments.

when you sign a nonaggression pact with someone it says trade util unknown item type 9

I noticed that the "TradeUtil - unknown item type 26" message seems to appear every time I reject an offer to purchase contact with another player.

This annoyed the hell out of me, so I decided to do something about it. This patch seems to fix it for me, but it could do with some more extensive testing.
It only affects one Python file, so no need for a new DLL.

If it works, it should take care of issue #86.
